The air was electric with excitement in Museum Macan as we gathered to celebrate a significant milestone for Terartai on June 8th 2024. We are still in awe of how far we've come, reflecting on the journey that brought us here. Founded in 2020, Terartai is a social enterprise built on a vision of sustainability and inclusivity. Our path has been filled with ups and downs, even doubts, but the incredible support we received at our product launch has given us renewed courage and hope for the future. This event wasn't just a company milestone; it was a celebration of growth for our team and each individual involved.
We are also proud about our all-women team. We wouldn’t be here without your unwavering faith, empathy, and dedication to our community, families, customers, and art. Our work and faith in our mission have been the backbone of our success.
The highlight of the evening was the launch of our Enable-Link™ collection, a testament to our commitment to sustainability and inclusivity. This collection, created in collaboration with Expression by Hadiprana and Mortier, features products made from recycled HDPE plastic waste, sourced from plastic bottle caps and shampoo bottles. The sustainable ethos extended to our event displays, with tables, chairs, and pedestals provided by Mortier, all crafted from HDPE plastic waste. Isn't that awesome? A big shoutout to their incredible team!
Our artists showcased their musical talents, with performances including angklung playing, singing, and short story readings. We wanted everyone to see that every individual, including those with special needs, has a unique gift. We are all wonderfully made, and this message resonated throughout the evening.
We are also thrilled to have worked with amazing artists like Oliver Wihardja and the twins, Allen & Darren. Their paintings, showcased at the launch, were not only visually stunning but also served as a significant inspiration for our Enable-Link™ collection. Their artistry has become a driving force behind our new product line, and we are proud to have them as part of our gifted artists' community.
As we look forward, we are filled with hope and determination. The support and enthusiasm shown at our launch event have reaffirmed our belief in the positive impact we can make. On a side note, we're thrilled to announce that we’ve closed our Preorder Period due to overwhelming demand.
