At Terartai, we aim to show people that everyone can contribute positively to the world, even when things may seem challenging or impossible, because #EveryoneHasAGift. For most people with special needs, progressing in life and finding ways to earn an income can be incredibly challenging. According to recent studies, only 19% of individuals with disabilities are employed, compared to 65% of those without disabilities. We want to change that. Through our initiative and the power of art, we believe we can provide these individuals with opportunities to progress and thrive​​.
We conduct bi-monthly art workshops in partnership with Kyriakon Special Needs School, ensuring a supportive environment for our artists. With our partnership, our workshop has access to wheelchair access, calm/snooze rooms, and the option for artists to bring their families and therapists. This supportive setting allows artists to freely express their creativity.
Collaborations with brands and corporate partners are integral to our mission. These partnerships not only expand opportunities for our artists but also provide financial support and promote our D&I initiatives. Through these collaborations, we aim to reach a broader audience and showcase the incredible talents of our artists.
We foster an inclusive culture by encouraging feedback from artists, their families, and our partners. We also offer flexible working hours and remote working options for our team, ensuring that they can balance their professional and personal lives effectively. This inclusive approach helps us create a supportive and adaptive work environment.
